I’m Alexis Abbey, a designer and maker from Bloomington, Minnesota with a background in costume construction and a passion for creating unique products. My journey began in theatrical and theme park settings, where I honed my skills in garment construction, alterations, and problem-solving under pressure. Working in costumes taught me precision, adaptability, and how to bring ideas from sketch to finished piece. All skills I now carry into my own creative work.

Beyond costumes, I design and sell handmade stuffed animals and machine-embroidered keychains. I not only sew and construct these pieces but also digitize my own embroidery designs with a specialty embroidery software. Combining traditional craftsmanship with digital tools to create unique, high-quality products.

As I look toward a corporate fashion career, I’m excited to bring this blend of creativity, hands-on construction knowledge, and attention to detail into a larger team environment. I’m driven by innovation, collaboration, and the desire to create products that connect with people both emotionally and practically.
